Assistant General Manager
Job Description: Seeking a high energy manager to build exceptional team culture, lead business operations, ensure an exceptional customer experience, and effectively growing event sales.
Principal Function: Responsibilities include but are not limited to – preparing food and beverage items for guests, provide efficient and friendly service, keep a clean and sanitary work environment and maintain a positive attitude with team members and customers, create a quality experience for guests, assist with interviews, hiring and training processes, knowledge of products being sold and ability to make recommendations and answer guests questions, maintain and record inventory, assist with ordering supplies and scheduling as needed, demonstrate creative thinking to increase sales and offer our guests something truly unique.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Ensure standards for quality and service are adhered to
- Communicate and promote Wrigley’s culture and values; Promote the brand
- Provide hands-on leadership and direction for team members
- Participate in the recruitment, selection and training processes
- Train new and current employees on proper customer service practices
- Training staff to follow restaurant procedures
- Organizing schedules and monitoring employee hours and payroll
- Appraising staff performance and provide regular feedback to staff
- Deliver superior service and maximize customer satisfaction
- Keeping customers happy and handling complaints
- Interacting with guests to get feedback on product quality and service levels
- Coordinating daily front- and back-of-house restaurant operations
- Controlling operational costs and identifying ways to cut waste
Qualifications/Skills:
- A minimum of 1 years of previous leadership experience within a diverse, food & beverage environment
- Experience as a Restaurant Manager, Hospitality Manager, or similar role
- Strong leadership, motivation, and people skills
- Demonstrated success building and managing of a large team with a focus on exceptional customer service
